A resource from the Australian Catholic Bishops' National Centre for Evangelisation

WELCOME to our December 2021 edition of The Bridge.

In this issue we respond to highlights from the first assembly of the Plenary Council by listening to a young member's experience, Madeline Forde, and opening ourselves to the learnings and gifts of the Syro-Malabar Eparchy with an interview with Bishop Bosco Puthur. We share highlights from the recent consultation with youth ministers as they explore how a network can support their local community. Jenny Collins-White shares her story and how it drives her mission, and members of the Teams movement in Australia share how their network supports married couples, new and old. We also highlight Catholic streaming services and how they can support the evangelising mission of your community or family.

We hope you enjoy this collection of articles and find inspiration to deepen your formation as a disciple of Christ. The whole NCE team includes you in its Advent prayers, hoping you have a wonderful and faithful Christmas and New Year.

Every blessing,

Malcolm Hart
Director, National Centre for Evangelisation
